Certain DME products require a physician's prescription. When you place an order for such a product, the confirmation screen indicates the need for a prescription. You must then fax or mail the written prescription to directDME, so we can place the order. We strongly urge you to FAX the prescription so your order will not be delayed! Fax: 888.219.6588
If you have a prescription for a product and directDME does not require a prescription, please fax or mail it to us anyway. We review the prescription to be certain you are ordering the correct product. If there is a discrepancy, a customer service specialist will contact you or the referring physician.
