Product Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with a DME product, simply return it within 15 days of receiving it. Unless otherwise stated by directDME, any item not returned within 15 days of receipt cannot be accepted as a return. Merchandise must be in original condition, with all original packaging, components, instructions, and warranty materials.

Due to health guidelines, the following items are not returnable:

  • Consumable items, such as wound care, incontinence, urological or Ostomy products, if packaging is opened
  • Custom fitted items including braces and compression hoses

directDME reserves the right to reject any returned product for health safety reasons. directDME contacts you in such an event, and will return the product to you if you choose.

To obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, click the "My directDME" link and then click the "Return an Item" link or call 877.496.7461. We will not accept any returns without an authorization number. Place your RMA number on the outside of the shipping package.

Where applicable, we will issue a UPS call-tag for pickup. If you prefer to use your own delivery method, indicate on the return form or tell our customer service specialist. Our Customer Service Department will inform you if you are responsible for any shipping charges and/or if your returned item requires special packaging

Upon receipt and inspection of the product and the acceptance of the return by directDME, appropriate credit is issued.
